
PRO-FOOTBALLERS SUPPORT
Project focused on Professional footballers & managers showing dedication and support to Canary Wharf Football Academy. So far we have been fortunate enough to gain support from Bobby Zamora, Rob Lee, Jack Wiltshire, Declan Rice, Per Mertesacker, Jamie Day (Bangladesh Coach) and Anwar Uddin (Fans for Diversity)

STAR OF THE MONTH
At CWFA we understand the importance of rewarding and motivating children on a monthly basis and there’s nothing better than our “Stars of the Month” award where children receive award for the effort and dedication throughout the month. They are awarded medals & goodie bags for the effort. This may include trying very hard, listening skills and improvements made.

SUMMER SPORTS CAMP
Supported by Tower Hamlets Council & East End Community Foundation CWFA are providing Multi-Sports & Online health and wellbeing fitness sessions from 2nd to 29th August from 10am to 2.00pm. To join please complete online registration & membership form.

CHRISTMAS HALF-TERM
Supported by Tower Hamlets Council CWFA are providing Multi-Sports sessions with FREE hot meal for all participants from 21st to 31st December from 10am to 2.00pm. To join please complete online registration & membership form.

TRIPS & REWARDS
We understand the importance of rewarding and taking children & parents on trips to enjoy a day out whilst staying connected & spending quality time together which ultimately helps children feel secure in their relationship and gives the parents a chance to get to know their child better.

AWARD CEREMONY
A yearly event where we celebrate achievements & success of academy children, volunteers & our coaches with appearance of professional footballers and refreshments.
PROJECTS

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
We have been closely working with Cyril Jackson Primary School an OFSTED Oustanding rated school on providing after school training sessions to improve the health & well-being of the pupils.

GIRLS IN FOOTBALL
Our aim is to introduce regular football sessions for girls to participate at CWFA. Louise Gear, head of women's participation at the FA, said: "Football has been perceived as a boys' sport and the plan is to change the perceptions and break down the barriers."
